Susan Li became Meta's CFO in 2022, when she was 36 years old. The promotion made her one of the industry's youngest chief financial officers; the average age for the position is 53.

She first joined the company in 2008, when it was still called Facebook. She rose through its ranks and was most recently a finance vice president before becoming CFO.

Li started her career at Morgan Stanley, where she worked as an investment banking analyst from 2005 until 2008.

She immigrated to the U.S. at the age of two and proved to be a precocious child: Li entered high school at age 11 and was in college by 15.
