Furthermore, as the founder chairperson of Football Sports Development Limited, she spearheaded the launch of the Indian Super League, bringing professional football to the forefront of Indian sports. Her commitment to accessible healthcare is evident in the Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre in Mumbai. Nita Ambani's influence extends beyond national borders. She is the first Indian woman to be elected as a member of the International Olympic Committee, a recognition of her contributions to sports and her dedication to promoting the Olympic ideals. Furthermore, she is the first Indian to be elected an Honorary Trustee of the Board of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, further solidifying her position as a global cultural ambassador.
